Recovery from GABF!

Well... it's been a while, but now that I've finally recovered from the Great American Beer Festival, I can finally talk about it... It was a lot of fun, a lot of great people there. Most people we met were there for multiple nights, which I highly reccommend if you really want to sample the entire US. We mostly stuck to the West Coast and East Coast, trying some in the South, Midwest and Central. We definately hit our beer limit about 2/3rds of the way through the night, but we tasted some good stuff. I liked a Jasmine beer, while the others like a Smoked. We had to stop by the locals of course, Lakefront and Capital. It's definately a "pace yourself carefully" event! I started on IPAs, which wasn't the best idea since there were so many of them, I was forced to switch to water and lagers for a while. Would love to go back someday!
